DAILY OR WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
Someone needs to be responsible for daily or weekly basic maintenance of the surface. You want to make sure that you are keeping the court clear and free from debris that wind, rain and other elements bring onto the surface. Branches, leaves, pine straw, bark and many such items can discolor or even become embedded into the surface. Consistently sweeping or blowing the court is the first priority to maintaining a great tennis court over the long haul.
QUARTERLY CLEANING
In order to keep the colors of the court surface bright and well contrasted, it\’s important to arrange for quarterly surface cleaning. We recommend ensuring that a surface cleaner is used, rather than a pressure washing machine. As the video below demonstrates, this is a far more effective way to clean than using a pressure washing machine! While the video is for a driveway, the surface cleaner works exceptionally for tennis courts, and basketball courts and many other recreational surfaces.
ANNUAL STRIPING
In addition to surface cleaning service, we also provide re-striping service so that those white lines always stay bright and contrast with the green or blue and red playing surface. This helps players discern when points are in or out of bounds. It also is far more attractive to guests, potential residents or anyone else using the facility.
RESURFACE AS NEEDED
Finally, every few years, a tennis court will need to be re-surfaced. We recommend calling upon a professional tennis court re-surfacing company that focuses solely on that. Clean and Green Solutions does not provide this service, but would welcome the opportunity to provide a recommendation.
